It has a high warmth to weight ratio and unlike down, PRIMALOFT retains its heat trapping properties when wet. Mini ripstop nylon fabric shell and polyester taffeta liner give further protection from the elements. In order to make this piece as flexible as possible, the collar features a packable hood with a bungee cord adjuster to protect against wind or snow in a pinch.
